Happy Fourth of July 2009

OK, this 4th of July / Independence Day video was delayed a bit in publishing, but at least I got it done before the weekend was over. AND ... the celebration of independence should never end.

The next video of Dalila dancing at the wedding is a bit dark; but you'll get the idea. "Dalila likes to dance" and a good time was had by all. And no, that's not me dancing with Dalila. It's Leon (Dalila's brother) and Gloria's son ... our nephew, Adrian.

!!! You MAY want to adjust your VOLUME DOWN for this one.
Thought the Hart's might want to see some southwestern fun.
The newest member of the extended family, Danielle, is Japaneze Irish American :)

  1. Pat, What an outstanding video tribute.
I know that took a lot of time.
    Very professional.
    Thank you.

  2. Really doesn't take a lot of personal time. It's a matter of keeping picture files organized and labeled as you add them to the computer and waiting for the computer to process the video and not waiting and watching.

    Glad you liked it.

  3. WOW! You are really onto creating, reliving wonderful memories. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Good things happen when unfortunate things take place. The time you have right now is truly being put to awesome use.

  4. Awesome work with the video! What program/software did you use to create it? Also, thanks for the shout out! I'll have to get the video of me pitching at some point. I think that was my first collegiate appearance! Keep up the great work!!

  5. Windows Movie Maker. It came pre-installed with the system. I found 6 clips from the game that I will upload. I'll try to upload them to Google docs.

  6. Joyce and Bryan ... Glad to hear from you. Hope you got a chance to view both videos. I don't get Dalila on camera very often. One of the next steps is to figure out how to share pictures better. It looks like you can't download the uploaded video (if you wanted to). I think Google has the ability to share files, but some of these get big. I'll look forward to technology suggestions.

  7. Yeah, we watched that one, too. The rhythm certainly got them! lol. That wedding looks like it was a lot of fun :)

As far as technology suggestions, I'm just learning as I go as well. I'll fill you in, though, if I get anything figured out!

  8. Could you tell from the dark video that that was Dalila being picked up and thrown around? It's really hrd to see. Unfortunately, the lighting was bad and my cheap camera doesn't have a flash when it goes video.
