Congratulations Adam !!!

Proud of you in California!
My freshman year at X brings back some good memories. Hitch hiking from Northbend and Boomer to school in the morning in snow, rain and occasionally nice weather. Most of my rides dropped my off at LaSalle and then hoped for somebody heading all the way out. Football practice until 5 and then off to work at LaRosa's on Winton and Galbraith. I usually got a ride to work, but the ride back after midnight was usually pretty interesting. and occasionally resulted in a long walk (10 miles or so). I'm sure that your Dad remembers well, he was two :)

Good luck and keep us posted. Uncle Pat

Happy Valentines Day to All

Ooops forgot to add Alex's picture from last night at Chaminade
Happy Valentines Day
A special "Day" in all our "Harts".
Matthew is playing in a baseball tournament in Santa Maria, Patrick is off snowboarding, considering coming home sometime this weekend (probably needs food and laundry), Dalila is working this weekend. I'm eating Cincinnati chile, (recent packets from Mo) and enjoying some quiet time at home.
More family pictures from the west coast. Still experimenting with all this technology stuff.
Have a great weekend

Here is a picture of Drew at a recent dance with some of his friends.

California rainin

Well, the California sunshine couldn't last forever. We've got rain. At least for today.
Currently talking to Steve and helping him get started on this blogging stuff. Not sure if I created a monster :)

This is the last family picture from Dalila's birthday cruise last year. Guess it's almost time for another picture.

Finally got into the orthopedic doctor and he confirmed that I have an arthritic knee. Got a cortizone shot and feeling much better. Next step is knee replacement (hopefully far in the future).

Response to West Chester Days

Hey mom you forgot our blogspot address. http://07days.blogspot.com
I hope everyone is enjoying their Wednesday afternoon. For those who do not know Justin and I bought a new house earlier this month and I will be posting snow covered pictures of our house later this afternoon. Have a good one. Love, Laura

Greeting from West Chester Days

Hello to all,
Sitting at my computer, on yes, another snow day. Snow started falling here in West Chester
lightly about 11:30, looking as if there would not be significant accumulation. WELL, by the time
school let out, it was a mess. My 12 minute journey from school to home lasted 2 1/2 hours. Thankful to make it home safe.

" Thanks" to Joyce for putting up the last family picture we had with mom and dad (or grandma and granddad Hart). The picture does not include Justin, Dave and Chrissy or Alyssa who joined or families after that picture was taken.( I think everyone else is in it So we do all have a challenge facing us, to plan to be together for Michael and Amanda's wedding in the summer of 2010. It will probably be our next opportunity unless everyone makes it home, Christmas 2009. I know that thinking far ahead, but to make special moments happen, we all know we have to be thinking in advance......So start saving those pennies, and in today's economy,,,it might just be the pennies for awhile, but the do add up. :)

p.s. The Tim Day Family had already started their own blog...
We all know that this is a very busy and emotional time with all the changes that are taking place, the apprehensiveness of what is happening in our economy, but we all need to remember
that we are here to support and care for each other. We need to think about happy times, and what families mean to each other. Let's all stay in touch!
I have found quite a few of the old "Family Insights". They are very heartwarming. Does anyone else have copies. I can't remember how long we published, but from what I have it looks like maybe
2 years. Let's try and make this blog work, for a long time. Put up pictures, messages, announcements, well wishes, just anything that would keep us in touch.
Love you all.
By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL JANUARY BIRTHDAYS
Patrick Hart Jr. HAPPY 21st...........Jan. 6
Tim Day, Sr.............Happy 55..........Jan. 23
Kevin Hart..............Happy 17th.......Jan. 29
HOPE YOU ALL HAD A GREAT DAY!

Monday, February 2, 2009

It's February 2009 and the California Hart's say hi!

It's been a long time since the last publication of Insights. This could be fun as the participation increases. The weather in Covina has been high 70's, but this hasn't prevented Patrick from continuing his trips to the mountains to ski. The weather works well for Matthew as the baseball season is getting into full swing.

Looking forward to keeping up on the family news.
